PS: Parolen.Slogans | Retrospective

The aim of this exhibition project was to bring to life a broad cultural-political dialogue with regard to the phrases that shape our socio-political life and know how to manipulate us. Today, the question of media independence is a particularly explosive one. It is worrying to see how much political actors succeed in "buying into" public media and using them to control the population. Trust in independent media, whose primary task is to publish objective and balanced information, has dwindled due to the mass of often contradictory news splinters. To investigate the effects of the phenomenon of fake news, which aims on a total disorientation of media consumers, would be appropriate as a continuation of the project Parolen.Slogans. If this discourse now, 10 years later, would run just as smoothly and would be welcome, is a question that can truly be asked.
